LANSW State Combined Carnival, Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 March 2024
The Kumon State Combined Carnival is held on the first weekend in March each year, at a regional venue. At this carnival, athletes participate in ALL of the events on offer for their age group and points are allocated for performances recorded in each event, based on the Little Athletics NSW Multi-Event Point score tables/system. The points across all events conducted for each age group are added together to determine final results. Entries are ONLINE only via the LANSW website. There are no refunds following initial close of entry.
This season the Carnival will be held at the Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March 2024. Entries will open in December 2023. For more information click HERE.
U15 Boys - 100m, 100m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, discus;
U17 Girls - 200m, 100m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, high jump, javelin;
U17 Boys - 200m, 110m hurdles, 800m, long jump, shot put, high jump, javelin.
For Tiny Tots/Under 6 – there will be a FREE Tiny Tots/Under 6 session on both the Saturday & Sunday taking place at 10am each day. The session will last for approx. 1 hour in duration. The kids will be taken through some fun athletics learning skills in each session. All little athletes are to meet in their centre uniform at the Information marquee at 9.45am sharp. there is no need to pre-register.
A team of 3 girls and 3 boys from the U15 age group competing at the State Combined Carnival are selected from their performances to be part of the LANSW State Team and compete at the Australia Little Athletics Championships (ALAC).
